Our Strategic Leadership Team

Georgina Winterburn | Executive Headteacher

I am Executive Headteacher of Woodlands Co-operative Academy and Brownhill Co-operative Academy. I work with the Heads of School to ensure children are safe, happy and successful. At Woodlands we work together as a co-operative team with “Respect, co-operate, succeed” at the heart of all we do. We are a listening school that values its partnerships with parents, the Co-operative Academies Trust and our local cluster of schools.

Adelé Clark | Head of School

As Head of School, I am responsible for the day to day running of Woodlands. My work is about ensuring we provide high quality teaching and learning that enables all children to be successful. I work with the Executive Headteacher and all the staff to ensure high expectations in learning, behaviour and attendance are maintained and that we provide a safe and happy academy that meets the needs of all our pupils.

Poppy Lewis | Assistant Head

Working in education for the past 8 years, my journey at Woodlands Co-operative Academy began in January 2013 as a teacher. I am now the Assistant Headteacher with the responsibility for English, educational experiences and I’m also an NQT/RQT mentor as well as a staff Governor. I live and breathe our community. I believe passionately about the power of education and that education is one of the only things that can never be taken away. I hold strong faith that every child has the ability to be successful.
