Coronavirus Letter (Key Workers) – 20th March

Key Workers Update

The Government has now published the list of parents who are classed as key workers, you can find that list here:

The most important message is that if children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.

That is why the government has asked parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend.

If you qualify as a Key Worker from the above list and would like your child to continue to attend school then please let us know today via phone (0113 240 7382) or email (wood-office@coopacademies.co.uk).

It is important you let us know today so we can plan for the correct number of children.

The message from the government remains the same; if anyone in your household shows the symptoms of Coronavirus (fever or a new continuous cough) then they and the entire household should self-isolate for 14 days – regardless of whether you are a key worker or not. In this instance, they should not attend school.

I appreciate your understanding and support. If you can please let the school know as soon as possible it will help us to manage staffing.

I will send out more details regarding timings and expectations to those parents whose children will be attending.
