6P Visit Into University!

Read about the fantastic time 6P had at Into University last week!

We had a spectacular week at Into University last week.  Our first seminars looked at Sustainability and how we can help as individuals to look after our planet.  We studied and created our own wind turbines (tested using hairdryers).  Linked to this was a trip to Tropical World, where the children were able to experience the Amazon Rainforest, logos and symbols, which identify how the world is helping to promote recycling and fair trade.  The week was completed with groups of children revealing their secret missions and graduating from Into University. In the words of 6P ‘it as an amazing and awesome experience!’

COVID19 👈

Following current guidance, we do not have year group ‘bubbles’ and children and staff will be able to mix with each other throughout the school day. Bubbles may have to be reintroduced when necessary.

Classes are set up differently to last year and children will go to Key stage assemblies. We will continue to have whole school assemblies virtually for the time being.

We will have staggered break and lunchtimes. This is to ensure that lunchtimes runs smoothly and children have more space on the playground.
