Roma Community Liaison Team visit Woodlands ๐Ÿ‘

On Tuesday, Mirela, Albert and David visited Woodlands for the day. They work for a charity called Mission 44 and are based at Co-op Academy Leeds! They spent the day with us, speaking to our Gypsy Roma families and will be working with us throughout the school year.

If you would like to get in touch with them, please give us a call.

Sports Competition Winners! ๐Ÿ…

Each week, different groups of children from Woodlands visit Co-op Academy Leeds for a sports competition. Take a look at our most recent teams, both bringing home the win!

Our CEO, Dr Chris Tomlinson tweeted:

On 22nd Nov we hosted the Y6 girls netball tournament. It was a very cold day but all the girls showed great effort and really enjoyed playing their first full rules netball games. There were some really good skills on show; @coopwoodlands came away as our winners!

On Wednesday, we hosted the Y3/4 boys basketball tournament, after a few weeks break due to weather conditions. It was a fantastic tournament with all showing great resilience and determination. It was a very close competition but @coopwoodlands came out on top this time! #SucceedTogether

Co-op Donate food and treats! ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿฅฃ๐Ÿงผ

Our sponsor, the Co-op Group, have donated food and supplies that will be made into hampers for members of our community. They also have donated a selection box for every child that attends a Co-op Academy - over 7000 selection boxes across the north of England!

We will be in touch soon with families eligible for the food hampers.

If your child would like a Christmas Dinner, please let our school office or your child's teacher know.

Pop to the main office just before the performances to sign in!
