As we approach the end of this first term, I want to take a moment to reflect on and celebrate the many achievements of our school community. It has been a truly remarkable start to the school year, filled with learning, creativity, and collaboration.
Our pupils have worked incredibly hard this term, showing dedication and enthusiasm in everything they do. Whether it’s mastering new skills in the classroom, excelling in sports, or sharing their creativity through music, art, and drama, their achievements fill us all with pride.
This term has been enriched by exciting trips and inspiring visitors. From educational outings that brought learning to life to the special guests who shared their expertise and stories, these experiences have created lasting memories and deepened our children’s understanding of the world.
We are so grateful for the ongoing support of our parents and carers. Your involvement—whether through attending events or simply cheering on your children—makes a world of difference. Thank you for being part of our school’s success.
As we prepare for the festive season, we wish all our families a safe, happy, and peaceful Christmas and New Year. May this time be filled with joy, rest, and togetherness.
We are excited to continue building on this term’s successes as we move into the new year; 2025 promises to be a fantastic chapter in our school’s journey.
Here’s to a well-deserved holiday break and a brilliant start to the year ahead!
We break up for the Christmas Holidays | Friday 20th December, 3:15pm |

Charging for damaged equipment ⚠️
We would like to inform families that, under our Trust's Charges and Remissions Policy, we may request a contribution from parents or carers to cover the cost of replacing items that have been damaged due to misuse or carelessness. This is because such replacements come at a cost to the school’s budget, which is ultimately intended to benefit all pupils.
If such a situation arises, we want to reassure you that this will always be approached on a case-by-case basis, with understanding and sensitivity to individual circumstances. If you have any questions about this policy, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Our Local MP visits Woodlands 👏
On Friday 13th December, Richard Burgon MP visited Woodlands. He met with Mrs Clark, had a tour of our wonderful school and then was questioned by our Pupil Parliament!
