Time to Talk Day 2025

At Woodlands, we believe that mental health matters, and that’s why we were proud to take part in Time to Talk Day—the UK’s biggest conversation about mental health.

Sponsored by Mind and The Co-op, this important day encourages open discussions about mental well-being, helping to break the stigma and remind everyone that no one has to struggle alone.

As part of our commitment to supporting mental health in our school community, we hosted a Parents’ Time to Talk event. Led by Melissa, our school counsellor, and Miss Heron, our Academy Community Pioneer, the session provided a safe and welcoming space for parents to come together, share experiences, and explore ways to support their own well-being as well as their children’s.

The event sparked meaningful conversations and reinforced the message that talking about mental health—whether with friends, family, or professionals—can make a real difference.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark this important day. Let’s continue the conversation and support one another, not just on Time to Talk Day, but every day.
