World Book Day 2023

On Thursday 12th March, we took part in World Book Day!

World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and shared reading. At Woodlands, we had a fantastic World Book Day! Children and staff came to school dressed as book chracters or words, and took part in lots of book related activities. Five children also won prizes for their fantastic outfits!

What an amazing Work Book Day! The children and staff looked great in their costumes and it was fantastic to walk around school and see the children acting out parts of some of the books they have read during their time at Woodlands.

Thank you to all our families for the effort they put into their children’s costumes. I already can’t wait for next year’s World Book Day!
