Woodlands Weekly | 17th June 2022

We’ve had another fantastic week of learning this week, with lots of trips out and visitors. Make sure you check out our stories to see what we get up to!

Eating a healthy and balanced lunch is vital to a child’s learning.

Please make sure your child’s packed lunch:

  • Does not include chocolate, sweets or crisps
  • Includes healthy alternatives, such as cereal bars and fruit
  • Includes water for a drink, no juice or fizzy drinks

You can find out more about healthy packed lunches here.

We’re excited for the warmer weather! Let’s make sure we can all enjoy the sun safely.

Essentials ☀

  • Sun Hat – best with a neck protector
  • Sun Cream – apply it before school

Sun Cream ☀

Keep safe and reapply. Everyone can bring in their own sun cream to use during the day in a labelled bottle.

Cool Clothes ☀

Stay cool with our Summer uniform choices. It’s our day to day uniform, with the following options:

  • Blue check dress
  • Shorts in grey or black

Sun Cream in Early Years ☀

We’ve got sun cream in Early Years. We’ll help your child reapply it during the day to make sure they’re safe.
We’ll need permission for your child to use this sun cream or they can bring their own.

Art Exihbition

It was fantastic to welcome our children and families into the hall on Friday for our first Art Exhibition. Thank you so much to those who could attend and to Miss Wilson for organising a great event!
