As Assistant Headteacher, I will be leading the development of the Maths Curriculum, ensuring the pupils at Co-op Woodlands Academy feel confident and successful when applying their mathematical thinking. Additionally, I will be continuing the development of the non-core curriculum subjects. Working collaboratively with Senior Leaders and the wider staff allows the curriculum to be tailored meaningfully to our pupils. Incorporating a range of experiences, across all subjects, allows pupils to deepen their understanding and feel positive about their learning. I believe that when we explore the world around us and celebrate successes it raises aspirations and allows us to exceed our potential.
