Woodlands go to the Panto!

This year, we took our Reception, KS1 and KS2 children to the pantomime! OH YES WE DID!

A pantomime is a type of musical comedy stage production designed for family entertainment. It was developed in England and is performed throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland and in other English-speaking countries, especially during the Christmas and New Year festive season.

The children boarded coaches and headed to The Carriageworks Theatre in the centre of Leeds to see Snow White!

When the vain Wicked Queen realises that she is no longer the fairest in the land, she seeks revenge against her beautiful stepdaughter Snow White. With the help of the magical Forest Fairy and her seven faithful friends, can Snow White escape the Wicked Queen’s evil clutches and live happily ever after with her handsome Prince?  Snow White 2023

Miss Wilson, our English leader, said:

It was a privilege to take our school to see a pantomime this year. The children, staff and volunteers were all incredibly excited and had a wonderful time. Some children even got up on stage and won prizes!

A massive thank you to our staff and our parents and volunteers who helped to make this happen!
