Happy New Year! We hope you’ve had a wonderful holiday and feel refreshed for the year ahead. We’re so excited to welcome everyone back to school and look forward to all the exciting opportunities 2025 will bring.
Thank you for your commitment to bringing your children to school, even during the recent icy conditions. Your efforts make a huge difference to their learning, ensuring they continue to thrive and make progress.
This year promises to be full of exciting learning experiences, with enriching lessons, engaging trips, and inspiring visitors planned. We can't wait to share these adventures with your children and our families!
As a reminder, to help every child succeed, please make sure your children:
- Attend school each day in full uniform.
- Read at home regularly to develop their skills and love of reading.
- Pay for school lunches at the main office.
If you have any concerns or need support, our team is always here to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re stronger together.

Each half term, our children take time to think about their aspirations, targets for the next half term and check if they've earned their next RESPECT Badge! 
Jamie's Farm Skipton comes to Woodlands 👩🌾
On Tuesday, Ben from Jamie's Farm Skipton popped to Woodlands to meet the children who will be spending the next half term at their farm every Monday! 
The children are so excited, and we can't wait to share with you what they get up to!
2T spend quality time in our library 📚
2T had a fantastic time in our new library this afternoon! They spent time exploring the books and reading together!

This week, we've had our next round of badge assemblies! We're so proud of all our winners who've shown our RESPECT Values and been fantastic role models for others. Well done Team Woodlands.
