Year 5 and 6 AIM High Writing Day

This week, 16 of our pupils from Year 5 and 6 got to take part in an Authors Abroad A.I.M. High Writing day with the author Colin Parsons. The pupils loved writing their own stories with him, learning about some of his books and asking him questions about his career.

Year 1 Visit Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Year 1 had a fantastic time at Yorkshire Wildlife Park as part of our Science topic on animals. The children saw lots of animals, but their favourites were the polar bears, tigers, giraffes and lions. All the adults and children were surprised to hear that lions sleep for up to 20 hours a day!
