As we reach the half-term break, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate the hard work and fantastic achievements of all our children! Their dedication to learning has really shone through, and we are so proud of the progress they’ve made. Whether it’s mastering new skills in class or showing great teamwork, each child has something to be proud of this term.
Our learners have also enjoyed some exciting experiences outside the classroom, with trips and visits sparking their curiosity and broadening their horizons. From exploring local history to welcoming special guests, it's been a term full of discovery and fun.
Let’s not forget the weekly Co-op Cup! Our young athletes have been giving it their all in this tournament, showing sportsmanship and a winning attitude. We’re excited about seeing where the competition takes us next term.
As we head into the half-term holiday, we wish all our children and families a restful and enjoyable break. With Halloween and Bonfire Night just around the corner, we remind everyone to stay safe, have fun, and enjoy the festivities responsibly.

Family Bingo Night 👏
We had a fantastic time at our first family event of the year, Bingo Night! It was wonderful to see so many children and families having so much fun! 
Woodlands welcomes Co-op Academy Leeds students 👍
Every week, a group of students from Co-op Academy Leeds have been working with our children. The students are completing a BTEC in Health and Social Care and are working with us to complete their placements by supporting our children.
It's been fantastic to see our children working with the students who have been fantastic!
Little Life Savers in Year 6 ⛑️
Last week, our Year 6 children took part in a workshop with a charity called Little Life Savers. The children learnt about how to complete CPR and what to do in an emergency. These vital skills were tested and the children showed great engagement!
Parents' Evenings 🏆
It was great to see so many children, parents and carers join us for our first parents' evenings of the school year. We hope you enjoyed finding out about what your children have been learning, and sharing their successes!
Super Science Lessons 🧑🔬
Every Thursday afternoon, most classes have science lessons. Lots of classes were out and about conducing scientific experiments, making predictions and recording their ideas. Our super-scientists have blown us away with their knowledge and understanding!
