Throughout this half-term, our children have shown our values of respect and cooperation, both inside and outside the classroom. We thank everyone in our community for supporting our children to learn and have lots of fun at school!

We also want to emphasise the vital role attendance plays in academic success. Regular attendance ensures that students have the opportunity to engage fully with their education, laying the foundation for future achievement.

As we approach the half-term break, we extend our warmest wishes to all families for a safe time together. Here's to a restful break filled with cherished moments and exciting adventures!

Mrs Clark

Uniform shows we are in it together 👍

Our day-to-day uniform for children in Reception to Year 6:

  • Blue jumper or cardigan, preferably our jumper with logo
  • Trousers or skirt in grey or black
  • Polo shirt or shirt in white
  • Black smart shoes, flat with no heels
  • Headscarves in navy blue, black or grey

Children should only wear stud earrings to school, and should make sure their nails are short.

If you have any questions or need support with uniform, please get in touch.

Monday Handi-Craft Club 🧵

Our Monday Handi-craft club have been working hard to make cushions! Don't they look amazing? The children have shown great creativity and determination to make their items!

Time to Talk at Woodlands 🤗

Last week, we took part in Time to Talk day - a day celebrated across the UK encouraging us to start a conversation about mental health. Parents joined us this week for a great coffee morning, giving them a chance to get together and have a natter!

Safer Internet Day with The Leeds United Foundation 💻

This week, we celebrated Safer Internet Day. The children spent some time during the week learning about staying safe online, and how to reach out for help.

Year 4 and 5 had a visit from The Leeds United Foundation for a special workshop all about staying safe online too!
