Year 6 Visit Cannon Hall Farm

On Wednesday 16th September, Year 6 visited Cannon Hall Farm

The children spent the day exploring the farm, learning about the animals, exploring the land, playing in the park and were treated to a delicious lunch!

The day was run by Yorkshire Children's Charity who provide important life experiences for children across the county.

While the children explored the farm, a crew from BBC's Look North programme asked the children about their thoughts on the farm. Here's what they had to say:

This was a really good experience!
I've never been to a real farm before!

I can't wait to watch myself on the BBC!
We've had a great day!

I think I'd like to learn more about how a farm works and the jobs needed to make the farm run.

We'd like to thank Cannon Hall Farm and Yorkshire Children's Charity for hosting the day. We can't wait to return soon!
