Attendance and illness ❄️

Regular school attendance is very important for your child’s learning and success. Every day counts! Please let the school know if your child will be absent as soon as possible so we can keep track.

We also teach good hygiene at school to keep everyone healthy. Remind your child to wash their hands often with soap and water, especially before eating and after using the bathroom.

Thank you for helping us keep our school a safe and happy place for learning!

Year 6 Pupils Shine in the CUT Music Project 🎶🎙️

Our Year 6 pupils recently took part in an inspiring three-day initiative called the CUT Music project—Creating Understanding Through Music. This innovative program, led by Music Box - Inspiring Voices, aimed to educate young people about the dangers of gang involvement and knife crime through the powerful medium of rap music.

Important Update: New Collection Policy for All Children at after-school clubs ⚠️

Starting from Monday 25th November 2024, all children who attend an after-school club must be collected by an adult at the end of the club.

This change is being made due to recent events in the community, and we believe it is the best way to keep our children safe.

We understand that there may be special circumstances where this could be difficult. In these cases, short-term allowances may be made. If you need to discuss your situation, please contact the school office to arrange a meeting or phone call with us.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to protect our children.

As we move into the festive period, make sure you check our events calendar to see what is happening and when. We can't wait to see lots of parents, carers and families in school over the next few weeks!

Odd Socks Day 🧦

As part of Anti-Bullying week, on Tuesday  12th November, we took part in Odd Socks Day and wore odd socks to celebrate what makes us unique. All week, we focussed on tackling bullying and how we can reach out and support each other.

Pupil Parliament 👍

Our Pupil Parliament met last week and were set a task to find out what our children think about our school lunches, and to ask their classes to come up with ideas for events to do in school with their family.

They were also given their Co-op Badge so everyone knows they are a member!
