Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your support this half-term! Your children have been amazing—working hard, showing kindness, and embracing every opportunity to learn. We are so proud of them!

We'd also like to let you know that Miss Gosal will be leaving us and starting a new job after half-term. Miss Gosal has been with us since September 2020 when she started her teaching career. We thank her for her hard work and the care she's shown towards our children and wish her luck in her new role!

We hope you have a safe and restful half-term break. Next half-term will be full of exciting new learning and opportunities, and we can’t wait to see all the children back, ready to shine, on Monday 24th February at 8:40am.

Every school day matters—let’s make it a great half-term together.

Thursday 13th February, 3:15pm We close for half-term.
Friday 14th February We're closed for a training day.
Monday 24th February, 8:40am We're open for the new half-term.

Coming up... after half-term at Woodlands ✨

We thank you for your co-operation.

Jamie's Farm Monmouth 👩‍🌾

Earlier this half-term, 12 year 5 and 6 children joined Mrs Richley, Miss Nankanja and Miss Ravuoco for a week at Jamie's Farm in the beautiful hills of Monmouthshire in South Wales. They spent the week helping the team run the farm!

Safer Internet Day challenge 🛜

For their Get Set, Go starter on Safer Internet Day, our Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 children were set a challenge to find words linked to staying safe online.

NSPCC Number Day Rocks results! 🤘

On Friday 7th February, we took part in NSPCC Number day, raising money for the charity. The children wore stars or numbers and took part in NSPCC Rocks Times Table Rockstars tournament!

Time to Talk Day 🤗

On Thursday 6th February, we took part in Time To Talk day, an annual event sponsored by Mind and The Co-op. It was wonderful to see so many parents join us for a chat about mental health!
